Car services,
where you are parked.
Tyres fitted on the driveway, a valet in the work car park, or a driver at your door. Car jobs that come to you instead of the other way round.
What is
covered.
This group covers three quite different jobs. Two of them look after your own car without you having to take it anywhere: mobile tyre fitting and mobile valeting or detailing. The third, a chauffeur service, is for when you would rather not drive at all, such as an early flight, a wedding or a client to collect.
What they share is that the pro travels and the work happens on your timetable. A tyre fitter works from a van with a tyre machine and balancer. A valeter often carries their own water and power. A chauffeur arrives at an agreed time and place, with the route and stops planned before the day.
On AYS Concierge you search by service and postcode and see the pros who cover your area. Some jobs, like a standard valet, can have a fixed price shown before you book. Tyres and most chauffeur journeys are quoted, because sizes, distances and timings vary so much. Quotes are free and you pay securely through AYS when you book.
Choose
your service.
3 services in cars. Each page explains what is covered, how pricing works and how to get ready.

Mobile tyres
Choose mobile tyres when a tyre is worn, damaged or has a slow puncture and you do not want to drive to a garage. Give your tyre size from the sidewall and where the car is parked. The fitter needs firm, level ground to jack the car safely.

Mobile detailing
Choose mobile detailing for anything from a regular wash and valet to paint correction and protective coatings. A valet is a thorough clean inside and out. Detailing goes further into the paintwork and takes much longer. It suits busy owners, cars being prepared for sale and pet-hair emergencies.

Chauffeur services
Choose a chauffeur when the journey matters more than the car you own: airport runs with heavy luggage, wedding cars, business travel or a night out where nobody wants to drive. Chauffeur cars must be pre-booked, so you agree pick-up, drop-off, stops and waiting time in advance.
What to check before you book
For tyres, the legal minimum tread for a car in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way round. Many drivers replace earlier, as wet grip falls as tread wears. Tell the fitter if you have locking wheel nuts and where the key is, or if it is lost, as that changes the job.
For valeting, decide whether you want the car clean or the paint improved. A clean is a valet. Removing swirls and adding a coating is detailing, and is better quoted with photos. Say whether there is a tap and socket, and check your car park allows washing.
For a chauffeur, licensing is the key check. In England and Wales a car and driver taken for hire with a booking normally need private hire licences from the local council, covering the driver, the vehicle and the operator. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own systems. Ask about the licence before you book, and on the day check the driver and car match the booking.
Can car services come to my workplace?
Often, yes. Tyre fitters and valeters regularly work in office and retail car parks, as long as they are allowed in and there is room around the car. Ask your building or car park manager first, as some sites do not allow washing or jacking vehicles. A chauffeur can collect from a work address like any other.
Do I need to be with the car while the work is done?
Not always. If the car is somewhere the pro can reach safely and someone can hand over the keys, tyre fitting and valeting can go ahead without you. Leave clear notes in the booking. Your address and phone number are only shared with the pro once the booking is confirmed.
Why are some car jobs fixed price and others quoted?
A standard wash or valet on a typical car is predictable, so it can be priced up front. Tyres vary by size, brand and wheel type, detailing depends on the condition of the paint, and chauffeur trips depend on distance, timings and waiting. Those are quoted so the price fits your car or journey.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
Tyre fitting can usually carry on in light rain, but strong wind, ice or flooding may make it unsafe. Valeting and especially coatings need dry conditions, so a detailer may suggest moving the date. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start time, and the pro will message you through the booking if plans change.
How far ahead can I book?
Bookings can be made from 2 hours ahead up to 90 days ahead, subject to a local pro being free. Booking early makes most sense for wedding cars and airport transfers at busy times. For a tyre problem, give your tyre size in the request so a fitter can check they can get the right one.

CarsCar valeting vs detailing: what is the difference?
A valet is a thorough clean of the car inside and out. Detailing goes further, removing contamination and swirl marks from the paint and protecting it, and takes much longer.
