A clean home,
without the weekend.
Regular cleans, one-off deep cleans, end of tenancy and after builders, from local cleaners you can check before you book.
What to expect
from your pro.
Home cleaning covers a lot of different jobs. A regular clean keeps on top of things every week or fortnight: kitchen surfaces, bathrooms, floors, dusting and bins. A deep clean is slower and goes into the corners, including inside cupboards, skirting boards, limescale and the oven. End of tenancy and after builders cleans are bigger again, and are usually booked as a one-off.
Before you book, decide what matters most to you. Some people want the bathrooms and kitchen spotless and do not mind the rest. Others want ironing or changing beds included. A good house cleaner will ask, and will tell you what they can realistically get done in the time.
On AYS Concierge you enter your postcode and see cleaners who cover your area. Regular cleans are often booked by the hour at a price shown before you book. Deep cleans, end of tenancy and after builders cleans depend on the size and state of the property, so you can describe the job and ask local cleaners to quote. Quotes are free with no obligation.

Regular clean
Weekly or fortnightly: kitchen, bathrooms, hoovering, mopping, dusting and bins, ideally with the same cleaner each time.
Deep clean
A one-off top to bottom clean, including skirting boards, door frames, limescale, inside the microwave and behind appliances.
End of tenancy clean
An empty property cleaned to the standard of the check-in inventory, including inside cupboards, oven and fridge.
After builders clean
Fine dust removed from every surface, paint spots and plaster lifted, and floors cleaned once the trades have gone.
Oven cleaning
Racks, trays, glass door and inside the oven degreased properly, a job most people put off for months.
Moving in clean
Kitchen and bathrooms cleaned before your boxes arrive, so you start in a fresh home.
Spring clean
Windows inside, curtains vacuumed, mattresses turned and the jobs that only get done once or twice a year.
Ironing and changing beds
Added to a regular clean if you ask. Agree it in advance so the cleaner can allow the time.

How the price
is worked out
Regular cleans are often priced by the hour, shown before you book. One-off cleans are usually quoted. What changes the price: the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, how long since the last thorough clean, whether the oven or fridge is included, pets, whether the cleaner brings products and equipment, and for end of tenancy or after builders, how empty the property is and how much dust or mess there is.
How to get
ready
- Pick up clothes, toys and paperwork, so the cleaner spends the time cleaning rather than tidying.
- Write a short list of the rooms and jobs that matter most, in order.
- Say whether the cleaner should bring products and a hoover or use yours.
- Put valuables and anything fragile away, and mention any surfaces that need special care, like marble or wood.
- Leave access instructions if you will be out, and let the cleaner know about any pets.
Choosing the right pro
Every cleaner passes a photo ID check and a review by the AYS team before they can take bookings. We ask cleaners to upload their insurance, and they can also upload a DBS certificate, which the team reviews. If a cleaner will have keys or be in your home while you are out, check what they show on their profile before booking.
What is included in a regular house clean?
Usually kitchen surfaces and the outside of appliances, bathrooms and toilets, hoovering and mopping floors, dusting reachable surfaces, making beds and emptying bins. Inside the oven, fridge or windows is normally extra. Agree a list with your cleaner on the first visit so you both know what gets done in the time.
What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular clean keeps a home tidy and hygienic each week. A deep clean takes longer and goes into places that build up over time: limescale on taps and shower screens, grease on cupboard doors, skirting boards, light switches, behind appliances. Many people book a deep clean first, then switch to regular cleans.
Will an end of tenancy clean get my deposit back?
Nobody can promise that, because deposit decisions depend on the landlord, the inventory and any damage. A thorough end of tenancy clean gives you the best chance on cleanliness. Share the check-in inventory with the cleaner if you have it, and mention the oven, carpets and windows, as these are often checked.
Do I need to provide cleaning products?
It depends on the cleaner. Some bring everything, including a hoover and mop, and others prefer to use your products and equipment. If you have particular products you want used, for example for allergies or certain surfaces, say so when you book. It can affect the price.
Do I need to be at home while the cleaner works?
No, many customers are out at work. You can leave a key or access code and instructions in the booking. Your address and phone number are only shared with the cleaner once the booking is confirmed. If you would rather meet first, book the first clean for a time you are home.
Can I keep the same cleaner every week?
Yes. Once you find a cleaner you like, you can book them again for regular visits. Having the same person each time means they learn how you like things done and where everything goes. If they are away, you can book another local cleaner for that week.
