What is AYS Concierge?
AYS Concierge is a UK marketplace for local services. You choose a service, add your postcode and see the checked pros who cover your area, from plumbers and cleaners to dog walkers, mobile barbers, phone repairs and boat services. You book and pay in one place.
How are pros checked?
A person on the AYS team reviews every pro before they can take a booking, and photo ID is required. Pros can also upload insurance, qualifications and DBS certificates, which the team reviews. Each profile shows what has been checked, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
Do I get a fixed price or a quote?
Both, depending on the job. Standard jobs, like a haircut or a tyre fitting, have a fixed price you see before you book. Bigger or unusual jobs, like a roof repair or a new website, start with free quotes from local pros, with no obligation to accept.
How do I pay?
You pay securely through AYS when you book, and the pro is paid through AYS. There is no cash in hand and no bank transfer to someone you have never met. If something goes wrong, our support team can look at the booking with you.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start time. After that the pro has kept the time for you, so contact us and we will talk to the pro about what can be done.
Is AYS available where I live?
AYS is opening across the UK area by area. Check your postcode on any service page to see which pros cover you today. If nobody covers your area yet, leave your email and we will tell you when a pro joins near you.
When does the pro see my address?
Only once your booking is confirmed. Before that, a pro sees the type of job and the postcode area, never your name, full address or phone number.
